![]() I like Ark 1 - it's speciality is "loud" - but it's therefore niche - so you probably would want something covering more range/ground. I find the sound design patches more useful than the main orchestral patches. This is very a personal take - but I've never really liked the tone of Albion One (I much preferred the original Albion - even though it had flaws). Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass) rather than the other libraries where you only get high/mid/low ensembles. Woodwinds) and some of the sections are broken down (eg. ![]() The other nice thing about it is that you get some some solo patches (eg. It does have a slightly more modern tone than the other two. ![]() The patches are also not too resource heavy. You get a modern and a classic mix and can control the amount of reverb and these have are a nice balance of dry but with a touch of space which you can dial up if you need to - so you have some level of control. I should add the disclaimer - I don't actually own it, but I did get the Jaeger bundle a few months back (which has the same strings/brass sections - just with more control over the mics). ![]() I'd definitely go Nucleus if I were in your situation - it would cover the most ground.
